  4. This projector is for playing Ace film format
  5. films, produced with either:-
  6.  Euclid+Mogul (3D)
  7.  Paint+Splice (2D pixel based)
  8.  Draw+Tween   (2D object based)
  9.  
  10. This is a Multidocument/Multiwindow version.
  11. You can pop up a menu in the film window.
  12. Most operations are obvious (try them!).
  13.  
  14. In Freeze mode you can single step the film
  15. by using Select/Adjust on the window.
  16.  
  17. The New View option (under Misc) plays another
  18. instance of the film, but uses the same copy in
  19. memory, so is different from actually loading a
  20. film twice.

  22. Using an Obey file you can load a set of films, and
  23. optionally set them to play immediately in a rolling
  24. demo. The syntax is either:

  26. [<Projector$Dir>] Film Film Film ... [-Cn] [-Fn] [-R[n]]

  31. The -C and -F flags control the count for repeating
  32. each film and the flyback count per frame respectively.

  41. Note that the usual controls over each film are available.
  42. Pressing S will skip to the next film irrespective of the
  43. repeat count.

  45. The -L flag forces the films to be loaded one at a time
  46. rather than all in one go for the -R flag, and allows a
  47. longer rolling demo from a Hard disk.

  59. 1.07 (Jul? 1990) The projector now intelligently
  60. plays films in new modes which match the film's
  61. mode in bits-per-pixel and aspect ratio.
  62.  
  63. 1.08 (Aug 1990) New key - Ctrl-B in full screen
  64. mode puts the keyboard into a mode which will
  65. always single step the film forward one frame.
  66. Another Ctrl-B will get it out of this mode.

  68. Now includes a new EuclidX to play Lempel-Ziv
  69. compressed films. Note that if a Euclid module
  70. is already running which does not have Lempel-Ziv
  71. decompression (i.e. prior to 2.12) then Lempel-Ziv
  72. films will still cause errors.

  74. 1.09 (Sep 1990) Minor bug-fix for button clicks.

  76. 1.10 (Sep 1990) Supremecy bits now preserved in 4bpp modes.

  79. -L type Rolling demo can now be forced by using
  80. using a new -W switch. The switch is cancelled
  81. by a new repeat count, or another -W.
